Running Social Media for the Company as well as working with other committee members on helping with fundraisers, events, and ideas to keep the company growing.
The first ever resident Dance Company at NMU starting the school year of 2022-23. I was a member 22-23 and 23-24 as well as a Committee Member for the company which some of us members made to help students with any needs.
Being a part of this company was such a great experience, learning how real dance companies work while allowing students to be able to choreograph and apprentice was very rewarding for all of us.
We have been able to do shows such as variations from the Nutcracker in a Holiday Double Feature show, a short ballet featuring Carnival of the Animals, and our own CO/LAB Dance showcases, featuring student choreography along with choreography from two of our faculty members Karina Johnson (CO/LAB Artistic Director) and Kristen Beth Williams.
